Wait, what? We have another practical exam today?
This class is no sugar & spice. Gotta be A game every day.
Pretty tight on time to fit the following into 3 hours:
- Blueberry Pie
- Vanilla Pastry Cream
- Cream Puffs (filled & glazed)
- Eclairs (filled & glazed)
It was the first time since school started that I completely forgot about taking photos. Wow.
Good thing I enjoy these products a lot. Anyone visiting me in the future, feel free to place an order in advance.
It’s amazing how one single batter of eggy richness can morph into so many different enticing shapes.
And despite the eye appeal, they are NOT too pretty to eat. Everything is delicious.
Paris-Brest
(created in 1891 to inspire sales along routes of the Tour de France precursor race. Route: Paris-Brest-Paris)
Cream Puffs & Eclairs
(love the mini size and the chocolate ganache glaze)
Swans
(each component indicated ugly duckling fate until the assembly magically imbued these creatures with elegance)
Swans don’t travel so well; I ended up giving all of mine away, saved one.
