I’m obsessed with food and cooking but only now decided to devote full attention to this passion and learn to cook professionally. This is my attempt at living life to the fullest. I have a good life and a good job but there is something important missing. I don’t feel passionate about the work I’m doing. I don’t want to work just to work. I want to love what I do. And I want to wake up everyday wanting to kick ass doing my job. I’m looking for that fulfillment that can only come with a satisfying career. I may be 10 years too late compared to the fresh high school grads but I believe I now have the maturity level to really make it work.
I am by no means the first person to undergo a career change into food service or the first person to blog about it. My decision to go to culinary school was not an easy one. I owe it to the support of my family and my dear foodie friends. This blog is my way of taking everyone on this journey with me.
I love to eat. I love to cook. And I want to live passionately.
